These Website/App Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of semscleaning.com, SEMS customer-facing website pages, quote request forms, booking forms, payment links, customer-facing app or PWA pages, website content, and customer communications through the website or app.
SEMS Cleaning Co. is a trade name/DBA operated by SEMS Commerce LLC. In these Terms, SEMS Cleaning Co. and SEMS Commerce LLC are referred to collectively as “SEMS,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By using the SEMS website, app, forms, booking flow, payment links, or customer-facing services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to customer-facing use of SEMS, including:
- semscleaning.com
- Quote request forms
- Booking forms
- Payment links
- Customer-facing website pages
- Customer-facing app or PWA pages
- Website content
- Customer communications through the website or app
These Terms do not fully govern cleaner, contractor, applicant, worker, admin, or internal SEMS portal use. SEMS may provide separate cleaner, contractor, admin, or internal-use agreements, policies, or notices.
3. Relationship to Other SEMS Documents
Use of the SEMS website or app is governed by these Terms.
Actual cleaning services are also governed by the applicable Customer Service Agreement, Privacy Policy, accepted quote, booking, invoice, checklist, work order, payment terms, and any written addendum or service-specific agreement.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a job-specific accepted quote, booking, invoice, checklist, or work order, the job-specific document controls only for that job-specific detail.
4. Age and Legal Capacity
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements to request a quote, book service, approve payment, or use SEMS customer-facing services.
By using SEMS, you represent that you meet these requirements.
5. Customer Records and Future Accounts
Customers do not currently create their own public login accounts through the SEMS website or app.
However, SEMS may create and maintain backend customer records or customer profiles for quotes, bookings, properties, payment records, saved payment methods, service history, invoices, communications, and customer support.
If SEMS later offers customer login accounts or portals, customers will be responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activity under their account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the SEMS website, app, forms, booking flow, payment links, or customer-facing services.
You may not:
- Submit fake bookings
- Submit false, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Book services for a property you are not authorized to access or manage
- Attempt to access admin, cleaner, contractor, internal, or restricted SEMS systems
- Attempt to bypass security controls
- Scrape, copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the website/app
- Upload malicious files, code, scripts, or harmful content
- Interfere with the website, app, hosting, payments, forms, or service flows
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate SEMS, cleaners, customers, or third parties
- Use the website/app for illegal, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes
- Misuse payment links, quote forms, booking forms, or customer communications
SEMS may investigate misuse and may block, suspend, refuse, or limit access as described in these Terms.
7. Website/App Content and SEMS Ownership
SEMS owns or controls its website/app content and related materials, including:
- SEMS name, logo, branding, and trade name
- Website text
- Service descriptions
- Booking flows
- Forms
- Checklists
- App layout and design
- SEMS-created photos, graphics, and materials
- Internal templates
- Customer-facing website/app structure
You may use the SEMS website or app only for requesting, booking, paying for, communicating about, or managing SEMS services.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit SEMS website/app content, systems, forms, workflows, checklists, branding, or internal materials without written permission.
8. Customer-Submitted Content
You may submit information, messages, notes, photos, documents, screenshots, reviews, feedback, or other content through SEMS forms, communications, or customer-facing services.
Examples include:
- Property photos
- Damage photos
- Access notes
- Booking notes
- Quote request information
- Messages to SEMS
- Reviews or feedback
- Uploaded documents or screenshots
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you give SEMS permission to use, store, process, share, and display it as needed to:
- Provide services
- Prepare quotes
- Schedule bookings
- Document jobs
- Process payments
- Support customers
- Communicate with assigned cleaners or service providers
- Resolve disputes
- Investigate damage, access, safety, or service issues
- Improve operations
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, security, or business obligations
SEMS will not use private customer property photos for marketing without separate permission.
9. Quote, Booking, and Form Accuracy
You are responsible for submitting accurate, complete, and current information when using SEMS website/app features.
This includes:
- Correct property address
- Correct service type
- Accurate property size
- Accurate property condition
- Accurate add-ons
- Accurate access notes
- Accurate contact information
- Accurate payment information
- Pet information
- Heavy pet hair information
- Excessive trash information
- Laundry needs
- Oven or fridge cleaning needs
- Unsafe or unusual conditions
- Same-day turnaround constraints
- Any details that may affect price, scheduling, safety, access, or service scope
If submitted information is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or materially different from the actual property condition or service need, SEMS may re-quote, cancel, reschedule, refuse service, charge extra, or apply applicable fees under the Customer Service Agreement.
10. Payments and Payment Links
SEMS may use payment links, invoices, saved payment methods, and third-party payment processors such as Stripe.
By using a payment link or submitting payment information, you agree to the applicable payment terms, Customer Service Agreement, quote, invoice, and any third-party payment processor terms.
SEMS does not store full card numbers.
SEMS may correct payment errors, cancel duplicate payment requests, retry failed authorized payments, update invoices, or require a different payment method as allowed by the applicable Customer Service Agreement and payment terms.
11. Third-Party Services
Parts of the SEMS website, app, forms, booking flow, payments, maps, email, hosting, security, storage, or communications may rely on third-party services.
These may include:
- Stripe for payments, payment links, saved payment methods, invoices, receipts, and transaction records
- Supabase for database, authentication, customer/job records, and file/photo storage
- Netlify for website or app hosting
- Cloudflare for domain, DNS, security, performance, and traffic protection
- Google Maps for maps, address, location, distance, or property-location functionality
- Resend for transactional or service-related email delivery
- Proton Mail or another business email provider for business email communications
SEMS is not responsible for every outage, delay, payment issue, map error, email delay, hosting issue, database issue, security-provider issue, or third-party platform problem.
SEMS will make reasonable efforts to handle customer service issues, but third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, outages, limitations, and support processes.
12. External Links
The SEMS website or app may link to third-party websites or services, including payment pages, map services, email links, hosting pages, service-provider pages, or future integrations.
SEMS is not responsible for third-party content, policies, outages, security practices, errors, or business practices.
Use of third-party websites or services is at your own risk and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Website/App Availability
SEMS does not guarantee that the website, app, forms, booking flow, payment links, maps, email, or customer-facing services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Availability may be affected by:
- Netlify issues
- Supabase issues
- Stripe issues
- Cloudflare or DNS issues
- Google Maps errors
- Resend or email delivery issues
- PWA/app bugs
- Browser or device issues
- Internet outages
- Maintenance
- Security incidents
- Third-party service interruptions
- Customer device, browser, email, or network problems
SEMS may modify, suspend, or discontinue any website/app feature at any time.
14. Errors, Corrections, and Incorrect Information
Website/app content is provided for general information and booking support.
SEMS may update services, pricing, descriptions, features, forms, availability, service areas, add-ons, and website/app content at any time.
If the website/app shows incorrect information, fails to submit a form, creates a duplicate request, displays a payment issue, or otherwise appears wrong, you should contact SEMS before relying on it.
SEMS may correct errors, cancel duplicate bookings, update inaccurate quotes, refuse obviously incorrect pricing, correct payment issues, or revise service details before accepting or performing a job.
Final service details are governed by the accepted quote, booking, work order, invoice, checklist, Customer Service Agreement, Privacy Policy, and any written addendum.
15. Suspending, Blocking, or Refusing Access
SEMS may block, suspend, refuse, or limit access to the website, app, booking flow, quote forms, payment links, or customer-facing services at any time for misuse or suspected misuse.
Reasons may include:
- Fake bookings
- False information
- Harassment
- Fraud
- Chargeback abuse
- Unsafe requests
- Abusive messages
- Repeated no-access or cancellation issues
- Misuse of forms or payment links
- Attempts to access admin, cleaner, contractor, or internal systems
- Security concerns
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of the Customer Service Agreement
- Illegal, abusive, or harmful behavior
16. Customer Responsibility
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, costs, damages, or expenses caused by your:
- Misuse of the website/app
- Violation of these Terms
- False, incomplete, or misleading information
- Unauthorized booking for someone else’s property
- Fraudulent payment or payment dispute
- Abusive or threatening messages
- Uploading illegal, malicious, or harmful content
- Attempting to access admin, cleaner, contractor, or internal systems
- Violation of someone else’s rights
- Violation of applicable law
SEMS may seek recovery for losses, costs, damages, attorney’s fees, court costs, collection costs, or other expenses where allowed by law.
17. No Professional Advice
Website/app content is provided for cleaning-service information, booking support, and general business communication.
Nothing on the SEMS website or app is legal, tax, insurance, safety, medical, real estate, property-management, or professional advice.
Customers are responsible for their own property, insurance, tax, legal, guest, tenant, host, business, and compliance decisions.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The SEMS website, app, forms, payment links, maps, content, and customer-facing digital services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SEMS disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, or error-free operation.
Some disclaimers may not apply where prohibited by law.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SEMS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the website/app.
This includes damages related to:
- Lost bookings
- Lost profits
- Lost rental income
- Lost data
- Service delays
- Payment-link issues
- Map or address errors
- App bugs
- Form errors
- Email delivery issues
- Third-party outages
- Security issues outside SEMS’s reasonable control
- Customer device, browser, email, or network problems
For direct claims related only to website/app use, SEMS’s liability is limited to the amount paid to SEMS for the affected service, or $100 if no service was purchased.
Some limits may not apply where prohibited by law.
20. Privacy
Use of SEMS is also governed by the SEMS Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how SEMS collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects customer, property, booking, payment, communication, photo, and service-related information.
21. Changes to These Terms
SEMS may update these Terms from time to time.
The version posted when you use the website/app applies to that use.
Continued use of SEMS website, app, forms, payment links, or customer-facing services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
22. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by Texas law.
Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving the county where SEMS’s business address is located, unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires a different venue.
23. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect to the fullest extent allowed by law.
24. Entire Terms
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Customer Service Agreement, accepted quote, booking, invoice, checklist, work order, payment terms, and any written addendum, form the applicable terms between you and SEMS for use of the customer-facing website/app and related services.
